History - California - Pelon: Annotated Bibliography

Annotated Bibliography Guides

What is an Annotated Bibliography?

An Annotated Bibliography is a list of citations to books, journals, documents and other research materials. Every citation has a short description and evaluation after the citation.

Why Write an Annotated Bibliography?

An Annotated Bibliography helps you begin to understand your topic, and it starts the research process. This process also helps you discover if there is information that can help you support your thesis statement. Most importantly it shows your professor where you are getting your research from, if you are understanding your sources, and if this information will help you on your project.
